Sorry that...y'know, I wasn't around after my last update. Looks like I kinda lost it? I really had no idea I was brought back. I'm okay, by the way! Just a bump on the head and a couple cuts, but I came here with them, dattebayo!

[Another wet cough. The boy recording the post attempts a laugh, though struggles to catch his breath when he loses it. His breathing grows more uneven.]

[More short breathing until there's a loud *CRACK* when whoever had been speaking collapses onto the ground and shuts off the transmission.]
[[ooc: Okay, everyone! Naruto is back, and right out of chapter 234, just after the fight he had with Sasuke before he left for Orochimaru. Unfortunately, due to the fact that he no longer has the kyuubi to help him, he had only a little assistance in healing before being sent here. He's got a severe head injury that only healed enough for him to survive, as well as quite a few wounds and bruises on his head and abdomen. >: Responses will be short and awkward, so you all know. Also, I'm currently on a borrowed laptop at my parents' house, since I had to stay here for the weekend.]]

It is then that a black butterfly flutters past him. Naruto sits up quickly, in awe of the creature. They have butterflies here now? Well, damn! Finally, something harmless and pretty! Naruto grins as he stands up and reaches out to the butterfly.]
Uwah! Hey! C'mere! [He jumps off the last step and dashes to the butterfly, laughing while he cups his hands together in hopes to catch the insect. A few tries fail, but when Naruto finally manages to catch the butterfly in his hand, he nearly giggles at his victory.] I gotta go show you to Da--- OW!
[His hands release the butterfly, and Naruto rubs his left palm against his leg] You fucker! That hurt! Since when do butterflies bite?! [He waves his hand to shoo away the mean bug, but it doesn't seem to listen. In fact, the butterfly flies straight at him, and not before long, two butterflies appear to join in. Two butterflies becomes three, then four, and soon there's a SWARM of black butterflies flying around the poor boy. He obnoxiously screams, waving his arms around as he runs to the communicator, and straight back into the apartment building. Just as he slams the door shut, the recording ends.]

What the hell is that noise?! A crash?!
[Naruto stops speaking as he turns around to look down the street, seeing the building of Latimir crash and fall apart.] Ohhh nonono!!!
[He runs up the stairs, hoping that none of his friends or neighbors are too hurt. However, the tremors are so strong, and the debris are falling down hard, it is expected when Naruto is pushed off the ledge of the staircase that is clearly falling apart when he reaches the fourth floor. There's a loud *CRACK* when Naruto lands at the bottom of the stairs.]
[Transmission ends when another smash and scream is heard. Naruto and his communicator get smacked with a large piece of wood.]

[There's loud snoring which goes on for a few moments as the communicator is switched on. This might have happened while Naruto rolled over (he fell asleep with the communicator next to him, I guess). Crackling noises and many crashes are heard as the earthquake commences. After a few moments of the tremor, another crash is recorded, followed by a loud scream.]

Ahh...EARTHQUAKE. OH SHIT! HIDE! Dad?! Sasuke?!

[He scratches his head angrily until his eyes shift upward. Another person enters the video transmission, appearing to have black hair and pale skin. He wears an expression suggesting that he is anything but amused as he sits down, snatches the book, and flips it over.]

[The black haired boy points to a part of the text.]
Read it.
[There's a long pause as the blond, dumbfounded, squints at the book. He groans as he scratches his head furiously.]
The letters are too small-ttebayo! Besides, it's hard to read with you breathing down my neck, Sasuke.
[After a few moments, Sasuke takes the book in his right hand, using his left index finger to trace along the book as he reads the book aloud, slowly sounding out all the words.]
[[ooc: OTL this is mine and Sasuke-mun's way of trying to catch back up with posting and getting back into the community. Naruto's trying to teach himself to read English books aaand Sasuke already knows how to, but he's obviously annoyed that Naruto keeps complaining about it.
